Watersports are an excellent pastime in Greece especially in the Argolida with its clear blue seas and beaches.
Try windsurfing, waterskiing, sailing or scuba diving which are organised by licensed instructors or kite surfing for the more adventurous is found closeby.
Trekking is something for the more adventurous and off season preferable when the temperature is cooler.
Mountain Climbing is another sport enjoyed particularly in the area of Vivari.

Nature close to Ktima Anastasia
Ktima Anastasia is set in 6 acres of olive groves, away from the hustle and bustle of the town, close to nature but also just a few minutes from the shops and beaches.
Greece is famous for its beauty and the Argolida is particularly lucky. Springtime is an ideal time to visit and go on one of the many walks recommended and appreciate the flowers, trees and shrubs of the countryside. During the summer months a great place to visit is the beach of Nea Kios where one is able to swim but it is also a protected area and of great interest to ornithologists housing some rare bird species and also a part of the beach is recommended for people with skin complaints due to its special properties.
In the autumn the season changes and every family in Greece reaps its olives to store or to make into oil.. we will be pleased to organise packages for people that would like to partake in this, from reaping to seeing how theolive oil is pressed.
The winter is the time when the citrus fruits are harvested and we would also be able to offer small groups packages at this time to take part in the harvesting.

Beaches close to Ktima Anastasia
There are many beaches close to Ktima Anastasia, the most popular are Karathona and Arvanitia in Nafplion which are found just a few minutes away.
Karathona is a wide sandy beach, well organised and a magnet for both Greek and foreign sunseekers. There cafeterias serving iced coffee and snacks, changing facilities, toilets and showers. The area is a sheltered bay and therefore the climate extremely pleasant. Ideal for both sunbathing and swimming and perfect for children.
Arvanitia is the beach that services the town of Nafplion, it is a well equipped pebble beach and a favourite of the locals wanting a quick dip in the clear blue sea. The “round Arvanitia” walk is a splendid walk around the coast on a path on the cliffsife of around 1km
The beaches of Tolo, Candia (Kondili), Plaka at Drepano, Vivari and Iria are all within easy reach of Ktima Anastasia and all offer their separate charm, as do the villages of the same name.
